About this blog

Particle linguistics is a blog that aims to give readers a peek into the science of language.

It provides the highly opinionated, sarcastic, grumpy and excited views of the particle linguist – a grad student in linguistics – on the state of the art in linguistic research.

Ideally, you should either be appalled by the lack of respect for the conventional wisdom of linguistics or be excited while you discover that there is actually very little you know about the marvelous human capability to communicate and that we are only at the very beginning of the investigation into the workings of the talking mind.
